Quality and Consistency are an important aspect of corporate branding, and corporate headshots.

The most visited page (besides the home page) on most websites is the “About” page – where a summary of your business/value proposition generally lies. It’s also where leadership/staff headshots reside. Consistent, high quality headshots of your team gives the impression of stability, quality, attention to detail. And while they don’t necessarily have to dress the same way, or have the same expression, the quality and consistency of the images (eg, lighting, camera position, background, etc.) should be present. Here’s a small experiment: suppose you’re a potential job applicant, customer, investor, or partner who is researching potential companies to engage with.  You visit the About pages of 2 companies, and see the images of several members of each of the teams. What is the initial impression you get when looking at the 2 sets of images of their respective teams? Which creates the most positive first impression of the company? Which appears more stable, together? (Note: these are actual images taken from actual websites – both are biotech companies). And note you can still look diverse, fun, and energetic while having that consistent, high quality look that amplifies your branding.
